Dorchester
Seniors, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization
providing services for senior citizens for over
25 years.
The
Dorchester Seniors, Inc. mission is to provide
opportunities to all senior citizens of Dorchester
County to enhance their educational, mental, social,
spiritual and physical well being.
To
acheive this goal, Dorchester Seniors, Inc. works
cooperatively with other community agencies and
organizations through advocacy for senior citizens
and intraagency coordination including outreach,
assessing needs and planning actions. The
Faith Sellers Senior Center and the David Sojourner
Center were both built and opened in 2002.
Dorchester
Seniors, Inc. was formally know as Dorchester
Human Development Board.
