DSI has two convenient, affordable, and well equipped rental facilities with seating for up to
300 guests.

Dorchester Seniors, Inc. has banquet facilities in Summerville and St. George. Your special event such as a family reunion, business meeting, wedding reception, or fund raising event can benefit from our great in-town locations and our competitive rental fees. Maximum occupancy at the Faith Sellers Senior Center in Summerville is 316 persons and the David Sojourner Senior Center in St. George is 99 persons (with tables and chairs). Ample parking is available.

See the three optional room configurations below for an idea of the seating combinations available. You can arrange the rooms to suite your needs. A moveable partition wall allows us to accommodate different size groups. We can provide all the tables and chairs or you can bring your own or have a banquet service set up the rooms.

One Room Rental
The Jasmine Room is ideal for a smaller party with seating for up to 102 people. The layout at left shows seating for 60, with plenty of room for food and beverage tables and a small band or DJ and dancing area. This room also has direct access to our "catering kitchen" which has ample counter space, refrigerator, stove and sink. Rentals are based on a six hour block of time, including your set-up and cleaning time.

The combined Jasmine and Heather Rooms are good for a medium party with seating for up to 204 people. The layout at left shows seating for 150 with plenty of room for food and beverage tables and room for a small band or DJ and dancing area. Rentals are based on a six hour block of time, including your set-up and cleaning time.
